Clerks & Staff
Our clerks are well-known for being supremely efficient and accommodating
The clerking team at Bank House Chambers has been commended in the Legal 500 on numerous occasions, which is fairly unusual for clerks. But that’s because they’re unusually good.
Our staff deliver superb client care, working hand-in-hand with our barristers to provide smooth and seamless support. They’ve worked very hard to build strong relationships with the courts and other sets around the country, which can be particularly helpful for clients.
They’re here to help, from guiding you through the process of selecting and booking the right barrister, at the right price, through to the conclusion of your case – with prompt billing and return of papers, of course.
Wayne DigbySenior Clerk
Wayne has been with us for over 20 years and has driven and overseen our growth throughout that period. He is routinely described as the ‘best clerk on circuit’, and manages the clerking team with understated efficiency. He is available to discuss all and any of your needs, even out of hours.
David HarrisonJunior Clerk
David came to us shortly after Wayne, and is sometimes described as the quiet man of the team. He’s the lieutenant to Wayne’s general, and is a trusted deputy on the (rare) occasions when Wayne is away.
Chantelle BedworthFamily Fees Clerk
Chantelle is a relative newcomer, having been with chambers for a mere 10 years. There’s nothing she doesn’t know about family-fee billing, and she’s also responsible for the maintenance of our facilities.
Lesley OgdenReception & Office Administrator
Lesley is the face of Bank House, the first face visitors see when they arrive. Having spent many years working for local solicitors, she has a vast network of connections and local knowledge. She works tirelessly in support of the staff and barristers.
